Everything here points in one direction: to Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. And the surest, shortest, most beautiful path to Him leads through Mary. Her Immaculate Heart is the gateway through which the Living Word comes.
She, the first disciple, who kept all these things and pondered them in her heart (Lk 2:19), teaches us to receive the Word not just with our minds, but with our whole lives.

"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."
Matthew 4:4 became the first step in my journey with God’s Word. It led me from reading Scripture to journaling my encounters with Him, and eventually to creating this blog.
But this blog is not only about how The Blessed Word began. It is an invitation for you to pause and begin your own encounter with God’s Word.💛💕
If Scripture sometimes feels distant, or you long to grow closer to God but don’t know where to start, you are welcome here.

If holiness had a scent, I think it would be the smell of coffee in the morning - warm, comforting, real. Just coffee, in the quiet corners of our everyday lives.
