The Essence of Presence - BE: Change & Authenticity

Updated: Oct 3
Why “BE” Matters
“BE” is more than just a word - it’s a way of living. It carries the essence of presence, transformation, and authenticity. It’s a reminder that before we can change the world, we must first embrace who we are.
For me, "BE" is deeply personal. It’s woven into my name - Beata. It’s the heartbeat of my creativity - Beata Events. And it’s the foundation of how I approach life: The essence of presence, change, and authenticity.

The Essence of Presence, Change, and Authenticity
I hear so much these days about being present - here and now, authentic, taking off the masks, and changing myself rather than others through a shift in thinking. But it wasn’t always like that for me.
Growing up in communist Poland, the shadow of World War II never really ended in 1945. Fear and the past hung over us in school, at work, in the propaganda. The future felt paralyzed, and living in the present wasn’t even a concept I knew. Discovering God’s Word, coming to faith, and getting to know Jesus opened a window in my heart to freedom, joy, optimism, and peace. Those biblical truths felt revolutionary.
🌱Be the change you want to see. Transformations start within. If you dream of kindness, BE kind. If you desire beauty, BE creative. If you long for peace, BE still.
🌱Be yourself. The world doesn’t need another copy; it needs the real you. Your uniqueness is your gift.
🌱Be present. Life happens in the now. It’s easy to get lost in regrets or future worries, but true joy is found in the present moment.
When I am rooted in Christ, He Himself changes me. The perspective of “let go and let God” frees me, gives me room to breathe, and allows me to truly be.🌱
How “BE” Shapes My Work
BE Creative
In event planning and decor, creativity was everything. I didn’t just organize - I designed experiences that reflected personality, emotion, and story. Every detail mattered because beauty is found in the details.
Those years of creating celebrations taught me far more than logistics and design. They gave me a deeper perspective on people, enriched my relationships on many levels, and showed me how beauty, presence, and intention can transform ordinary moments into something meaningful. That chapter shaped who I am today.
BE Inspired
Faith and spirituality inspire my work. Just as God created with intention, I strive to bring purpose into every event, story, and interaction.
BE Connected
Community and relationships are at the heart of everything I do. Whether through events, storytelling, or personal reflections, my goal is to create moments of connection - where people feel seen, heard, and valued.
Sometimes that connection deepens when other voices join in. If you write short reflections or personal posts that speak to presence, authenticity, and inner transformation, and sense they might belong here, I’d love to hear from you. From time to time, I’m glad to share guest pieces that fit the heart of this space.
BE a Blessing
I believe what we put into the world comes back to us. Every act of kindness, every carefully planned event, every shared word can be a blessing. And that’s what I hope to be: a blessing through creativity, inspiration, and faith.
Join the BE Movement
Whether you’re here for event inspiration, spiritual reflection, or creative storytelling, I invite you to embrace “BE” in your own life.
BE Bold. BE Loving. BE You.
“We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. … We need not wait to see what others do.”
The idea remains deeply Gandhian: real change starts with the individual.
True change in the world doesn’t start with demanding that others improve, but it begins with the quiet, personal work of transforming yourself.
Gandhi’s well-known call to “be the change you wish to see” echoes what Scripture has long taught: 💮first remove the plank from your own eye before correcting anyone else, 💮renew your mind instead of conforming to the world’s patterns, and 💮let your life shine so clearly that others are drawn to the light.
When your heart aligns with God’s will rather than just following external rules, obedience stops feeling like duty and becomes a source of lasting joy that no temporary pleasure or success can match. 💮🤍💮
In our noisy, reaction-driven age, this ancient invitation remains radical - the most powerful thing you can do for the world is to become, day by day, the kind of person you hope it will one day be.💮🤍💮

Here are a few clear Bible passages that carry the same call - change yourself first, become the example, and the world around you will follow:
Matthew 7:3–5 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? … First take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
Romans 12:2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is…”
Matthew 5:16 “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
1 Timothy 4:12 “…set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
Philippians 2:14–15 “Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.”
All these verses push the same idea Gandhi expressed: the real work of changing the world begins with the change inside you.

These aren’t just words - it’s a way of life.

Share the Light💮
Send this to a friend, save it for later, or pass it on like a whispered prayer. Small steps shared become a path for others too.

A Little Thank You Before You Go 🌿
Thank you for sitting with me for a while and letting these words find a little space in your heart.
I’m grateful for every woman who stops here, opens the Word, thinks, prays, questions, discovers, and keeps becoming.
I’m grateful for the things we understand, and for the things we are still learning. Even the difficult moments have something to teach us when we bring them to God.
May you never feel that you have to rush away from His Word. May you find a quiet place where your soul can rest, be nourished, and become rooted in Him.
And may whatever God plants in your heart today gently find its way into your ordinary life - in your words, your choices, your relationships, your work, and even in the little moments no one else sees.
Thank You, Abba, for meeting us here.
Blessings & Hugs,
BE 💕

🩷🌿💛
